We won again! The Becky Baker Foundation National Golf Scramble
Team won the Torch Charity Event at Bear Dance Golf Resort in
Larkspur, Colorado on Monday, July 26!
Our team consisted of:
Long Drive Masher Matt Krause. He hit his drive over the green by
20 yards on the 350 yard par 4 Signature Hole, The Bear Paw. Yep,
that's 370 yards. He also hit one 370 UPHILL on #15.
Bryson who?
Won't Age Gracfully Rick Baker. He tried to drive the green, but failed
miserably. He now just tries to shoot his age – 68, which he does.
Leave the big drives to the youngsters, Rick. Have another
Red Bull and take a seat!
The Electric Rail Garret Dahms. A former college player with the
physique and all-around game that makes all golfers envious,
hits the ball farther (or is it further?) than Baker can see
anymore. He is Mr. Smooth, on and off the course!
Grandfather of 16 and Master Putter, Richard Baca. A former
Train Engineer of 40 years with rail stories that will amaze you,
Grandpa Baca is a whiz on the greens. "They only bring
me along to make putts," he claims.
The team is now 26-3 in past three years!
A special thanks to Ryan Radigan from Torch Technologies
for putting on such a great tournament!
